I just bought a 93 ford festiva in surprisingly great shape for $300 out of southern PA.  Am I doing this right?

Fun fact! The design is actually that of a Mazda 121. Ford used it when they owned controlling stakes in Mazda, had the body manufactured by KIA and used Mazda drivelines. The only Ford part is the badges.

I want them all, especially the Lapin. The hub caps and tire shined tires on the Minica look like they came off of a power wheels.

It is in amazing shape that is what makes me want it. I am guessing it was grandma’s car.

Beige / Cream is not my favorite. I like the blue but I am not finding it with a manual transmission.

I think the most common colors for Lapin SS are white, silv er black and red.

searchtempest.com will do mile radius searches on craigslist, there is also a ford festiva group on facebook that good deals can be had on.

It’s in immaculate shape rust wise. It has a bad exhaust leak and bad lifter tick. I’m going to fix those things, slap tires on it, and it will probably be a car for my girlfriend to use. Her 03 impala is more rot than actual steel anymore.  I have another one my buddy and I are going to 13B fwd swap.

I’m going to wait to do a build thread until after it is mostly done.  It’s a swap that is usually met with that’s impossible or not worth it responses, so I’m going to iron it out first before saying too much.
