The 388th out of Hill were doing a 4 jet flyover of a game tonight and they were just doing loops right over my house, for about an hour. and I mean RIGHT over my house. probably 2000 feet AGL and straight over. Fun to see the F35A’s looking pretty and not just story fodder.

Sorry my camera skills lack.  I got, maybe these three out of hundreds of attempts.  Turns out golden hour is a hard time for a camera to focus on tiny objects at full zoom traveling close and fast.  who knew?  I have video that is actually somewhat better bet its going to have to wait a week because Im outta here!  Alaska here I come!

Man, I was in the home depot when they started. It sounded like the building was coming down. The place emptied out and everyone watched from the parking lot. I was amazed how long they circled.

they they went around long enough for me to get out 3 cameras to try and get those shots.  It was nice that they flew right overhead too.

Those suckers are LOUD! There were a few here in Portland for a few days- with the way the idiots who bought property around an international airport and F-15 base locals complain about the noise from the F-15s, I was really hoping the F-35s would stick around for a couple weeks.
