Me too. This one is clearly driven because it was spotless outside, but the inside was messy.

The “history of agriculture” plates were pretty nice, but other than those I haven’t cared for any of the plates that followed the gold bottom plate.
Just last week I saw a Dodge Ram 50 driving around on the ancient white and green plates.

AT first I didn’t like those but the have grown on me. The “discover ohio” plates are meh.
Even worse now they have brought back the full county sticker. And it’s bad. Yellow plates it work great because they color matched it . These just no.
I had to get a new plate for my GX. Luckily as I don’t run front plates and took an old plates County numer sticker and transplanted it.
And wow, those are super old. I think white and blue was before the yellow plates so they were before that.

I think the green and white were mid to late 80’s. Before that was blue lettering on white. Then they went back to blue on white after the green but added the “heart of it all” slogan.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the plates I saw were original to the truck. It was so clean it could’ve just rolled off the showroom. I wanted to get a picture, but driving a company truck on a military base is a really bad time to be snapping pictures even though I was at a stoplight.
I just noticed they were doing the county names again and agree that I don’t care for them.

That might be, i get them mixed up as it was before my time but that is possible on that truck, those started in what early 80s? And yeah especially a military base.
