Local boys making some trippy goodness. I think I’m buying tickets to their show on sunday, they’re a hell of a live act.

This is off their new album they’re dropping that took 40 hours to make, for the purpose of promoting their following album that took 1000 hours to make.

Decent track though, I bet it would be a decent live show, though not sure how you’d do your 1000 hr masterpiece live...

Oh the whole album took 1000 hours to produce, not a 1000 hour album haha.

They have a Fender Rhodes and cool old analog sound generators in their local shows. C an’t find any good videos of shows with that gear though

LOL yeah that’s what I figured -as otherwise it might be tough to get the time off work. But that’s a big reason why Steely Dan never toured until much later - since they generally spent a ton of time in studio.

I used to joke with my old officemate that the world needs more electric piano. He’d immediately bust out one of his guitars and go into a rant about how Fender “lost its way .”
