Nice!  I almost bought those same wheels for my El Camino.  Looks awesome.  How do you like the tubular control arms?  Can you tell a difference in normal, non sporty driving?

This thing just keeps getting cooler and cooler.  Y our forum post made me chuckle , brakes clearly on the mind.

“ I’m going to brake this install up into several posts.”

F or non- sport driving the stockers are fine. I’d upgrade the shocks, springs and sway bars and call it good.

That was intentional. I can make puns.

Yeah, I’ve done all that and it drives fine, just thinking about what to blow large sums of money on down the road... The write-up you did on the brakes is great.

Wow, nice work! I’m a little concerned about the amount of material left on the spindle where it holds the caliper bolt - seems like there isn’t much support there anymore. Has this been done before? Will that remaining ear stand up to very heavy loads?

Yes it will. The spindles are modular cast iron and there’s a lot more “meat” to it than it appears look at it straight on. From the top down you can actually see that there’s a lot of material around the mounting hole.
