You couldn’t think of your own DLO feature Kia?

The DS3 had the kink in 2009, but there is a new one and Jalopnik hasn’t posted it yet.

Faux floating pillars are now very played out.  Make it stop.

I liked the Murano when it came out, but now, yea. We’ve had enough.

I thought modern 1/2 ton design came from the Ram, which in turn came fron big-rig semis, which in turn came similar to Diesel Locomotives...which in turn....

Okay yes, nothing is truly original. We’ve been making cars for 100 years. Almost every design thought has been had. BUT the big rig look is pretty much over. IMHO a slightly taller grill than headlight isn’t the same as the old Ram from the 90s.

You can tell from looking at the Silverado or Ram that they weren't told to look like something else.

That one irks me too, as I think it is just to hide the shape of the window, which is the exact same as in prior Murano. I suspect there’s some structural carryover from the past model, and false dynamism hides it. But it is definitely no worse than  the Lexus RX.

The only faux floating pillar I somehow tolerate is the Opel Adam, as it is subtle and maybe the pioneer.

I agree with you on the Adam.

It was one hatchback I was genuinely into.
