Broken BRZ, but its fixed now

I’m gonna blame myself for this one. Wastegate bolt backed out and came loose, pressed up against the engine block and bent itself.

New bolts and gaskets were $10, an hour of labor to loosen the manifold and get the bolt out later, its fixed.

Since he was gonna be in there anyways, I had my tuner build me new stainless steel oil cooler lines and slice up the former passenger side fog light housing some more to make a better channel for airflow to the oil cooler.

Runs like a champ now.

Did I make a mistake justifying a WRX then buying an ISF instead of buying a FRS/BRZ  and adding a turbo ?

No because the ISF is way cooler than either a WRX or BRZ.
