I think it’d work better if they added more harmonized parts to it. Repeating 2 guitar parts over a dozen or so guitars doesn’t quite add to the depth the way you’d expect.
For comparison, a classical ensemble this size would have at least 2 violin parts, viola, cello, and maybe even bass and a soloist.
