One of these. Unusually, it doesn’t look recently restored, just used and maintained.

Saw one on my street a few months ago in a similar state. Not fully restored but very well maintained.

The tag may be a clue...

Not quite. Neither is it here .
By tag I mean the “filed to” tag on the original post....

Hmmm. Probably to make them compliant to some lighting regs. It’s not like the lights even on full beam are bright.

Is it Italian? I’m not very familiar with the Euro plate numbering system.

No, it’s in Ireland.
The full number is 60 C something or other. It’s a used import, originally registered abroad in 1960, so gets a new style number. Much more here .
Each country in the EU
has its own r
eg
istration system, there’s no standard EU system.

I’m an idiot... It’s been a long tiring day. My brain mis-processed ‘tag’ and was thinking ‘something about the license plate’.

Dignified, solidly built transportation. Very much British Buicks, or Chryslers (by Chrysler's 1950s and 60s reputation for engineering and quality, not what they've since devolved to).
