Yes, those are suction cup shower handles that the ladder is resting— and presumably strapped— on. I’m staying away from him.

Each handle is   supposed to be able to hold like 200-300 lbs , right ? So why does this make me feel uneasy ?

You are just jealous that a competing window washing company has a fleet of Crown Vics.

Fun fact - nobody makes a roof rack for crown vics. I tried to find one and the best you can do is try and make a universal one fit, which wasn’t a battle I wanted to have.

Apparently I’m not the only one who looks at these products and says “$400 for that? ”

I once arrived at a j obsite with a 20' ladder on my Miata, balanced on the windshield and rollbar, strapped to front and rear tow hooks. It was glorious.

Didn't convince my boss to buy a fleet of roadsters though

I need more pickups at the moment. What do you think would be the absolute cheapest new pickup on the market?

I am not into truck but it seems like a work spec toyota tacoma/nissan frontier/ford f150/Ram1500/chevy silverado would be in the 20k range.

Unless a killer deal pops up I think I’m going to go with a couple of low mileage Ram T radesmen s. That V8 will be overkill but it actually does seem to have a lot of standard work-truck related options that would be quite useful.

Want to look at some Volvo’s for me sometime? Millennium Motors in Portland specializes in reconstructed title Volvo—which should scare me away—but a lot of them look so good...
