I’m regretting not heading for southern Indiana over the weekend to enjoy some stream crossings after all the rain we received. Crazy week.

I don’t know how this would have done any better than your Civic.

How has this current generation Si been at autox? The forum posts I’ve seen didn’t sound super optimistic about it, but the results from nationals look pretty promising. Was it just a wet whether anomaly, or are they fully competitive in GS?

You and me both.
Did you wind up swapping tires at all for the rain? Our (

fresh RE71Rs wound up being just barely acceptable during Heat 2, so I can’t help but wonder how much better off we might have been on the car’s daily-duty

Fully. I won a few national events. One won Nationals too, even setting fastest time in the dry on the 2nd day

Nice! That’s awesome. Is there any appreciable difference between the sedan and coupe for autoX ? I’ve been thoroughly considering the sedan as a DD, and would want to wheel it around some cones whenever I got the chance no matter what car I get. Also is the HFP worth getting at all, or are you completely better off with other aftermarket shocks/sways?

Sedan is marginally heavier, but I doubt it would make any real difference in performance. I think G Street class is extremely well balanced.
Don’t get the HFP. Keep stock shocks, and get at least a 21mm rear sway bar
