I respect people who bought an Outlook over a Traverse, Acadia, or Enclave

I respect no one who buys these monstrosities over a proper minivan.

I respect people who buy motorbikes instead of these ugly things.

Though, if you bought a later Acadia, you were still technically buying an Outlook...

I have to say, when I see that 1/1,000 that has the Saturn badge, I smile a little bit.

Same with the Relay minivan.

At least by buy ing the less-expensive brand v ersion they’ll have saved money for the inevitable timing chain repair (if the car lasts beyond the extended coverage on those). And the high-pressure fuel pump. And the evaporator core. And all the other fiddly bits that go wrong on these. Yikes.

You're right, it takes commitment to keep something that poorly engineered and built on the road. Torque converters, timing chains, front struts, steering racks and lines, rear evaporators, electrical issues, etc. It's rare one comes into work and doesn't leave with a quote for thousands in work.

I think the Acadia looked better. Exposed D-pillar FTW.
