So I have seen the Santana Land Rover that a Jalop has, it got me thinking about my M37. I would like to have the interior covered, and why not make it all covered. I saw this guy has a lower rear top than usual, the originals were higher so they could carry more ammo boxes etc.. I was thinking I could have my friend cook up some steel bows that fit in the stock spaces and some kind of support, maybe just make some bolt in roll bars so it actually might help a bad situation if it had to. I could just copy the stock cab soft top and extend it further back with roll up sides and back. I’m not sure about the OEM troop seats height with the lower top, I will have to investigate it.

It all comes down to how you want to use the thing. What purpose is it serving? Are you trying to protect the heritage of it or are you repurposing that heritage or are you ignoring the heritage altogether and simply using it to suit whatever current purpose you have for a truck?
