Anyone want to supply me with an LS9?

Went out to my car to run across town to pay rent and grab some lunch and my GTO is making a terrible noise. Like just awful. But I had to run my errands and so I did. I feel so bad putting her through that. I drove it into the service drive at work and my GM service advisor looked at me with great concern and asked if I had something else to drive this weekend because he wasn’t going to let me drive it home because it sounded so bad.

So I’ll borrow our delivery truck for the weekend. All this after a really great month (so good paycheck) and I was going to fix my motorbike and pump my savings up, but instead I guess I will be eating ramen... It really sounds like the lifters are eating up my cam or something. It is just a terrible noise. I want to hop it is something small, but I doubt it.

Stupid cars. I only have 64k miles on her... too young for so many issues

I’d rather swap a LS9, but LSA would be fine, but those are out of my price range.

Oh, you drive a Monaro Goat, I’ve always had a soft spot for those. Can’t help you much if at all, but I hope it doesn’t wind up being anything too impactful.

And if someone does send you a LS9 see if they’ll send you two, cause I’d love one.

Actually the back seats are massive. Like I comfortably have slept back there and had 4 large guys in the car for a long drive. Though I will say getting a large car seat in and out would be a challenge.

Yeah, just over 6 ft and too many pounds and i can sit comfortably in the back seat. It ain’t a Cadillac but for a coupe, very comfortable.

Sucks man, I’ve been bragging lately about how little I’ve had to do to my 04. 110k as of yesterday, daily driven...I can’t ask for a better gas hog.

This is the time to go full heads/cam/springs/tune. If you’re gonna be in there anyway...
