Since we’ve gotten no interest in the truck, we’ve decided to go back on the hunt for a Transit Connect.
Found a 2015 with 8k at Carmax, which is being shipped to our local store currently, so they’ve taken the ad down.
May go look at this one:

I have a soft spot for these - I think they’re cool as hell. Not your typically minivan but I would rock one for kids.

They drive better than any modern minivan, while offering more versatility. That’s why we want one!

I’m surprised you’ve had no interest in the truck.

I am too honestly.
Wondering if it’s not a case of priced too low for the condition, making people wonder what’s wrong with it.......

If Mopar would sell me a GT with a center bench, I would buy a new Grand Caravan. But nooooo, the only way to get a center bench is to buy the base model, with no way to upgrade body or suspension.
The Transit Connect is the only decent driving minivan offered anymore IMO.

buy a new grand caravan and find a used center bench from base model.

The mid seats in the Caravans are not removable*.

If equipped with Stow and Go, which the GT most likely has

Not sure the bench will mount. The bench models are offset bench in cloth. The GT/RT are leather buckets mounted on the far outsides.
Besides, if I’m buying new or slightly used, I want it to be exactly what I want so I don’t have to screw with it.

I don’t know. I’ve had some feedback on some of my CL ad s in the past. Supposedly there are people who absolutely will not respond to any ad that does not include a phone number. I find that to be really weird ... but people ARE weird ...

I won’t respond to ads without phone numbers. Mostly because they are usually a waste of time.
Usually it’s send an email, maybe get a response a week later, then reply again only to wait another week. I’m sorry, if you want to sell something, you better be available to answer questions.
I have gotten a couple hits, but they’ve gone nowhere.

The rear bench is okay but if it’s a four, five, six or seven seater I’m more inclined to go for the Ford Grand C-Max with the two rear seats that fold away and a centre middle row seat that folds into the right hand middle seat.

I feel like the C-max is a little on the small side for our needs.

Oops, sorry, you get the C-Max but not the Grand C-Max. My bad.

All good. I appreciate added ideas, although I think we’re quite set on the TC.
