Like, yeah the blue glass looks cool, but it’s a brick. A hideous brick rising 400 meters above Manila . Thing’s supposed to be a broadcast station’s headquarters, but I can’t even do the lobby floors below or any special features up top. Gimme ideas, architects of Oppo!

That’s what the tunnel-bridge is for!

But what kind of lighting package will it have?

The best, simply the best folks, believe me, we’ll install the greatest lighting package this building will ever get, none of the shitty ones the other contractor is peddling because they’re frauds.

Look at the Seagram Building on Park Avenue - the floating lobby undoes many of that building’s sins. Mies Van Der Rohe for the win.

many of that building’s sins
Elaborate this to a n00b like me (as well as how the floating lobby fixes them) so I don’t make the same mistake on my next build.

Look at Barcode in Oslo, they’ve managed to make a lot of similar bricks interesting.

Mmm, 8-bit . Between the arrangement of windows and blocking of rooms, this does seem to be right up my alley. Needs T-pieces and S-pieces, though.

Look at it at night, it’s magic. During the day, there’s a plaza in front that’s too big, a lackluster fountain, I don’t like the dark color of the metal. On the other hand, sometimes the setback works for me.
