‘MG’.....I guess the Chinese are jumping on the SUV bandwagon......

They sure as hell are. But why? Why here? It’s such a saturated market and there are so few people in the country.

I assumed you were located in the US, that is before I noticed RHD in the photo...:p

Roewe are using the MG brand to dive deep into the Australian urban SUV culture.

I’d appreciate their efforts a lot more if they would also satisfy the needs ofa small number of aging Gen X ers for a cheap two door convertible roadster...

You’ll need to look further south. Much further, and with kangaroos.

Ugh. Wish they wouldn’t.

If they made a nice modern mid-engined car I’d consider it. As much as I really do not want a Chinese car.

You’ve...never been to Wallan then?

As shocking as it may seem, I have never been to Wallan, however, I did find out, while googling Wallan, that we have nearly the same postcode. Mine is 3034, Wallan postcode is 3756. Quite cool, right?

Also, the way you have phrased your question really makes me feel like Im missing out on a lot for not having visited Wallan yet.

Why wouldn’t you encourage them to trade on their heritage?

It’s all they have  left.

I want that EVO. By the time I can import one for road use  I think I will be to old to truly enjoy it :(

I’ve a friend who bought a white imported one at 21. Now 28. He still has it but hates it and doesn’t drive it.

;)

But it’s been this way for years. I don’t think being young is really the a ns wer to enjoying it. Maybe the key is to not daily it.

Because fuck heritage . All they have left is nothing. All they have left is leverage to trick idiots into buying a car they do not want.

Also, we have enough SUVs. We don’t need another brand doing it. Maybe if they made light, cheap sports cars I’d give them a pass - we only have 1 Lotus. But the SUV thing has been done.

Oh sweet! I’ve been looking at moving to the west side. It’s got nothing on that 3101 lyf, except much cheaper housing.

We stopped while passing through on the Hume. KFC forgot my order and it took forever to get a zinger. Wouldn’t recommend.

Not bad cars though, people passing through on the way to/from Winton. Saw many track cars over the weekend, not bad eyecandy.
