I was in !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! this past Sunday while participating in the 2018 edition of the BMW Car Club of BC’s annual !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Since I was there, I decided to have breakfast early and then walk down the hill to Downtown to have a look around.
And, as you can see, it turned out to be some hill. Kamloops is located at the confluence of the North and South !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , but the hills do surround the area . As Downtown fills up the river banks, then the residential neighbourhoods (including my hotel) get built on essentially terraces carved out of the surrounding hills.
The first sight that greeted me was the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , built between 1909 to 1911 and now an !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! :

I got rained on, plus I had to get back to the hotel to prep for departure of our group’s drive, so I left in a bit of a haste. On the way back, climbing the hill again though, I spotted this 1911 heritage home with an Audi 8T S5 Coupe parked in front:
