The island separates the (humongous ) refrigerator and ovens from the sink and stove? I’m not sure about that in practical terms. The work triangle seems to be a bit divided. It’s nice looking, though. I’m not much of one for gray but at least it’s not white on white on white.

A like it! Though as token liberal points out, they do seem to have botched the fridge > sink > stove accessibility triangle a bit. Also non-central A/C seems a bit weird for new construction. Not a fan of all the blank plates in the ceiling either.

It's new construction and the buyer moves in next week. it's actually a duplex. Didnt think you could get away with building a high end duplex in Kirkland, but shows what I know.

I suspect a lot of it is zoned low unit multi-family, maybe the older yet trendy “west of Market” neighborhood being an exception.  It appears a lot of the area south of 85th near the water has a lot of condos.

Interesting. In a kitchen like this and with such a uniform surface , I sus pected corian or maybe concrete. I think granite is a better choice though.
