Update : Manwich posted some videos in the comments and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Found a curious car lot today in Maryville, Tennessee, just west of the Smokies. Start with the Torchbait and keep scrolling.
(That’s a 1982 Freeway with a Wisconsin motor. Clearly not named when people were thinking about Google searches. 100mpg, 60mph)

The Smokies have a lot of car culture
. So many great roads around there, the area is just begging for a “retro NASCAR” type of road rally series.

All these pictures and you didn’t take one of the vehicle that most piqued my interest. The old flatbed with the huge bull bar at the end.

Sorry, the bed was new so only the front interested me at all.

Last time I came through Townsend I discovered a small shop dedicated to Jeeps. Couldn’t believe my luck, especially since I needed a small part and they had some great shirts.
Unfortunately they closed a while back. RIP, Jeepism.

It looks like it might be a re- body and not the original truck which still would be neat. I kind of want to do a re-body to my F150 since the cab and fenders are getting so rusted.

Sweet...I completely missed that. Shit. I want it even more now. I think it is a re-body. And it has a 24v cummins and a 5 speed in it!

Man, some of these are so, so amazing and I would love to own them. But these lots are always “I know what I have.” (Also, holy shit, GeoCities flashback.)

That looks like a great way to break your shins.

Some more info on that ‘Freeway’ car:

In the 3rd video, you can see some other interesting cars in the background.

Those Freeways were really tippy which goes to show that p utting 2 wheels in front on a 3 wheeler isn’t necessarily better when you’ve got a high center of gravity.

Theres Cades Cove Jeep Outpost there, I think it opened not too long ago. Not too much in the way of parts, mostly shirts, bumpers and lights.
