I’d be more concerned about the safety of the driver than of the tank. Being rolled in an armored vehicle is generally bad, and it is easy to imagine that someone driving in a parade wouldn’t be strapped in (seat belts don’t seem very Russian anyway).

I don’t think you need to even touch any buffing equipm ent. It’s a Soviet built thing. You just flip it back to its threads and it should be fine.
