I finally have almost everything I need to rid the Raider of the awful Mikuni feedback carb. Not sure when I’ll have time, but I’m looking forward to it hopefully, finally running decently.

I’ve mostly worked with the W eber Kit on VW Type one engines, the catch is they are never correctly jetted. Getting a set of jets, and working with a shop that can analize the exhaust, seems to be necessary to get decent performance. Also the K&N Filter that probably came with it is likely to let in more dirt than you might want your engine to inhale. So you may want to consider your filter options...

I’ve seen several people with this engine saying they actually came correctly jetted, which is a pleasant surprise, but I’m expecting to need to re jet it. I’ve also seen some people modify the factory air filter housing to fit on the Weber, so depending on difficulty, that’ll be my plan
