Five years ago today, I got married.

At the time, I worked in a vegetable store and had no plans for the future at the time. I wasn’t in school and had dropped out of my previous education.

I can’t believe how much I’ve lucked out.

My bosses girlfriend of 10 years, actually. She found out he had cheated on her sometime in their past, dumped him, and the rest is history.

Don’t worry. HIS boss liked m e better. So he ended up alone and without any work coming in because he had the work ethic of a potato, and I ended up with it all.

Wrong location, perhaps. In SoCal there are multiple chains of grocery stores that devote over 80% of their floor space to fruits & vegetables, while the other 20% is split between alcohol, vitamins, and some dry goods.

Those were, by far, the best place to get fresh produce down there. I lived a 1.5 block walk from one down there and it probably helped kee p me fit (along with frequent visits to the zoo, which was a collection of hills that I walked all the time). This area has been really bad for my overall condition. :-/

It’s just not that uncommon around here. I love my wife and she’s one-of-a-kind for sure, but having pictures taken in/around a truck doesn’t really stick out as weird/special to me.
