Since treatments proved to be unsuccessful, the family brought Caleb home to spend his final days doing the things he loves. The young race fan’s final wish: decorate his casket with racing decals. Publicity of his wish resulted in an organized racing event in Iowa that allowed him to drive a stock race car at Southern Iowa Speedway. (photo credit: Southern Iowa Speedway Facebook page)

Sad. Happy. Sad.
What can I even say? Life isn’t fair, but I’m pleased that he got to live out a dream while he is still able. Hopefully it gives his friends and family one more happy memory that they can some day look back upon.
But sad.
