This is surprisingly accurate. I mean, I love going to these places, but I don’t know what stereotype I am. Always with an SO or date, we were always quiet and not social with the others, but I’ve seen/encountered all these others. Benihana always gives you some ridiculous discount for your birthday if you’re signed up, so we always went for birthdays (but they closed), which kind of makes me one of the retired couple many of the times, but never retired (but then I kind of blend in better with retired people than people my own age).

Those amused children are freaking rare, though. Haven’t had one in at least 10 years.

Depends on the chain, and the particular “Chef ”, I mean the food is your standard stir fried asian fare . You have to go to a good Hibachi Grill. We didn’t go to Benihanas just a local one.

I go to a hibachi table at least once a year, mainly due to my sister’s birthday. Am I the only person who the hibachi chef messes with, or are y’all those people around the table that say absolutely nothing?
