And then there’s “diesel 3 series wagon towing a MG Midget on slicks cool”.
Apparently, last weekend he towed it to another AutoX with his Miata...

Gotta keep the weight down. It’s a custom f abbed trailer made by the owner.

I daily-drove one of these a while back and regret selling it.
I’ve dreamed of getting another one, probably a ‘74 with the round wheel arches. That way I can put 13x7 Starmags on it with fat tires.
Then I’d be posting it here on Oppo every day, like a British Zoidberg.
Should I?

Wait, he towed that with a Miata? Sure an MG doesn’t weigh much but does a Miata even have the torque to tow a car?

Yeah, lol. Seems a bit sketchy to me, the trailer and MG together have to weigh as much as the Miata.

BMW wagons are low-key some of the best racecar tow rigs you can buy. Most of them have self-leveling rear suspensions to avoid sagging, and they drive a lot better than any SUV. Plus if your racecar breaks down you can take a BMW wagon on a track and still have a good time if you have some decent tires on it.
