The old BMW is a hen’s tooth.

I dare you to call the Wicca number.

Ha, the Wicca car was in Fairfax, pretty normal for Fairfax. Wiccan girls can be fun! There are a few old and less common BMWs around here, Marin is actually hiding a lot of gems due to a history of creative people with money. Our C&C can get interesting.

Mmmmmm... Loewy. You must live in a good climate for a Studebaker to be that clean.

People don’t want CA cars for nothing! My friend has some land up north and he has tons of vehicles just sitting out there but they only have a little surface rust.

It’s nuts when I go home to Minnesota and see trucks like mine with huge gaping rust holes in them. No thanks, I'll stay over here.

Funny, in Seattle which also has creative people with money, there isn’t even a real C&C, even with oddball cars being not unknown here. California helps for car culture, I think.

Oh the climate helps I’m sure, if you never see them as a kid you don’t necessarily get into it. How many people buy convertibles there, not as many I would imagine, stuff like that. I always try to figure out why some people like certain cars and how the culture made something so popular, some are obvious and some are head scratchers.

There are actually a lot in CA, I’m starting to see more and more that are obviously rolling projects. A homeless guy lives in a wagon in San Rafael, I was thinking I should get a van and trade them....

We have nice summers here, some convertibles, and many oddball cars, but people here just aren’t very social. Seattle metro must have 2-3MM people, and as far as I know, no real C&C, as in zero.  I think people in CA are just more into being around other people.
