Fun fact: Lose Yourself to Dance was co-written by Rodger Niles, who along with Bernard Edwards was the stellar rhythm duo behind Chic (one of the greatest bands of the Soul/Disco era) and who were the producers of Sister Sledge’s album We Are Family, and writers & producers of Diana Ross’s excellent 1980 album Diana (the one with “Coming Out”).

Daft Punk lifted one of their bass lines for Around the World. On RAM, Rodger Niles was also a co-writer and  the guitarist on Get Lucky, and a co-writer on other song I forget right now.

You should listen to Chic’s album C’est Chic.
