Needed something to fill the gap between MCM episodes. Based on some comments here and on YouTube (W ait, helpful YouTube comments!? Since when is that a thing?), I decided to check out Project Binky. It’s amazing! The fabrication work on this show is next level. Definitely recommend everyone check it out.

I was especially impressed they chose the exact same donor parts
for their rain sensor wiper mod as I chose for mine.

Agreed. Binky is next-level awesome :)

I'm also slightly pleased that it makes my project feel like it's progressing at a reasonable pace ;)

Don’t watch them all in one go, stagger them a week or two as it’s usually three months between videos.

If you watch them all in one go it’ll only make you sad knowing you’ve to wait so long.

Some have complained in the past about it but these pair have families and day jobs and so don’t upload weekly for that reason.

Its AMAZING. By far my favorite car build series to watch.

MCMTV's Skid Factory Bara Powered Bedford Van is a close second.

I’ve watched them since the second episode five years ago, they are getting sooner but they do from time to time.

I now don’t expect them but enjoy them when I get a new notification.

I love it deeply. At first I was a bit skeptical about the guys, they seemed irritating but I learned to love them. It’s a very calming show, it has a kind of an ASMR effect on me, just like watching Adam Savage build stuff.

Check it out if you’re into nerd shit. The videos are gorgeously filmed.

My concern is, however, that they’ll mess up Binky at the end and paint it in a gaudy color or make it distasteful. I pray that they don’t, but still, there’s that niggling doubt in me.

Yeah they’re all over the map with release times but I’m hopeful Patreon will lead to more videos.

I’ve watched the series a few times now. And every time I pick up on a new joke or quip that I previously missed. It took a few episodes to get into, but now I watch my notifications like a hawk, Just waiting for the next adventure ...

It was the best car related programming on YT for a few years. By the time Edd China made a cameo these boys were obviously tired of maintaining the shtick. Just there for the extra paychecks their wive’s became accustomed to.

They might recapture some of that old magic but I suspect those days are gone.  Surprised they didn’t try selling a 15 episode season to some obscure network in the cable galaxy nobody gets like FUSION.
