I’M POOPING BALLS NOW
But no, my actual problem is my right ear, which, for some reason, feels like it’s closed. If I move my finger a bit and pull my outer ear it works fine, but when I lie down it just seems to shut. I can tell because when I cup my left ear I can hear the air cavity, but not on the right (also the sound is muffled on the right side of the JBL headphones) . It’s been bugging me for the past week. It could be the aftermath of my colds, or some other shit. What I do know is that I might want to see an EENT doctor about it. Or maybe I should just go on a plane to make my ears pop.

Doctor, my ear don’t work
when I lie down but when I yank on my ear, it works fine
Doctor: don’t lie down. Go to work and yank on your ear all day. Do you need a prescription?

Look for earwax sir, and maybe put me in a pressurized room.

Do you feel off balance or like you just got off a rollercoaster?
I’d check for vertigo or
labyrinthitis. It could be either if your balance is affected.
I had a horrible case of Labyrinthitis and it about floored me for a week...and I was on travel in England. My ear hasn’t been the same since.

Not too different than the last time I saw my doctor.
“Anything new?”
“Not really, I guess I’ve had heartburn a couple times this year.”
“DO YOU WANT MEDICATION FOR THAT?!?!?”
“No.”
He scowled and scribbled stuff down in his notes and charged me $350 for "diagnostics." Fucking hack.

Nope, no balance issues. Just immense annoyance, as if something’s plugging the ear shut.

It’s wet when I move it though. Or sounds like that. I know when it clears because the ear kinda pops and a rush of clearer extra sound comes in.

Likely need an antibiotic to open that thing up. If your balance starts feeling off, goto the Doctor immediately. That was a hell of a trippy week for me...

There is a possibility of an earwax plug, you can get over the counter wax removal kits at the drug store. I’ve had this once before and I thought I had an ear infection, but it was a ball of earwax the size of a lima bean.
But yeah go to an urgent care or something, they will fix you up.

It did remind me of an old childhood problem, yeah. Went to a doctor once, had my right ear sucked out. MASSIVE AMBER PIECE OF EAR NUGGET.

Yep. My wife keeps telling me - go to doctor for check up. I say why? They don’t know anything. They ask me if I have family history of death. I say no. They say you will live forever.
Damn liars

Another detail: my throat. When I burp or yawn it clears up 100%.

Do you have persistent fullness, hearing loss, tinnitus and occasional loss of balance? Any other instances of severe vertigo? Could be Meniere’s... That’s what I’ve got. Screaming tinnitus in my right ear, about half deaf on that side, but at least it’s been over 2 years since I’ve had a vertigo episode.

No, I had Labyrinthitis. It gave me terrible balance for a week and I had some problems hearing at first, but then it cleared up. It still occasionally bothers me, but the balance hasn’t been an issue since. I haven’t had ringing or similar issues.
I started taking an herb that has helped out dramatically when I have issues called:
Vinpocetine.

The right drops should take care of it .
