For sale in Idaho- A ducati imported
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
!
Somebody grab this up before some redneck does... Super low mileage, Ducati 900cc V-twin, brembo’s
at both ends, legit off-road chops (2 time Paris-Dakar winner). And it’s even already got a 21" front wheel and one of the good seats
....!
An equivalent modern bike would put you back about $10,000 more than this one.... Someone go buy this! You’ll thank me!
(Just please put a proper-sized muffler on it)

Sees bike

Lol... but in reality, $4k is CHEAP
for what you’d be getting.....

That’s a stupid good deal on a heck of a moto.

Oh I know, it’s just like $3k outside of my adopted “no more than $1,500" bike buying philosophy. lol

Right? And that’s what they go for! I got mine for around $3500... They are so rare that people don’t know what they are- so there’s little demand to drive up the price.....

ooooh, now thats tempting....

Oooof, good price point, fits my budget, fits my wants...

I’ll be monitoring this ad for a bit...
Unless someone wants to buy my E55, then I'll be calling this guy immediately.

Do it! Do it! Do it!
There’s already a couple of elefants here in boulder, so you’d have some support on esoteric issues.... DO IT!!!
I’m dying that I don’t have some spare $ right now, or I’d totally grab it up.
Do it! Get that thing into Colorado!

The ad’s been up for a couple of weeks so far already... Like I already mentioned, there’s very little demand for these because nobody knows what they are/that they even exist....
You should see how many Ducati guys come up to mine, scratching their head cuz they have no idea what it is...!

We’ll see how long that lasts.

LOL! Me, a year from now:
“My bike budget shall not exceed $5k!”

If I had $4k to dispose of, I'd be heading to Boise.

In ten years you’ll be proudly showing off your brand new $25 k MV Agusta F4

How do you like yours? What's ownership cost look like?

It’s amazing. It’s such a rad bike.
Cost-wise, there’s not much to it.. It uses the tried-and-true ducati two-valve 900cc motor. Which at this point, parts are cheap for.. It’s air-cooled and simple. And it’s a really robust motor to begin with.
A buddy of mine, who’s had an elefant since new, recently did a extended tour (2000+ miles) on a borrowed ktm adventure and said he still prefers his elefant. Said the steering is quicker, the engine less buzzy at speed. And off-road wise.. Like I said, 2-time Paris-dakar winner.. I’ve gone on rides with dirt bikes that were stunned by how good it was- then you hit a space where you can really crack open the throttle.. See ya!
When guys come up to me to ask what it is- I tell them it’s the “DBP”.

Too bad I just realized I can’t take a trip in February if I buy it
That thing looks so rad in white with knobbies!
![]() 08/16/2018 at 17:01 |

Why no trip in Feb? If due to weather, just trailer it to the nearest desert..
And thanks on the compliment on the bike.. yeah, I absolutely
love it. It’s such a treat to DD it... Pretty much checks all the boxes for me.

Budget! It would be a ten day trip to Mexico. Buying the bike would kill the trip budget.
Is it quick?
![]() 08/18/2018 at 09:12 |
|
Yeah it’s quick! Obviously not brand-new monster quick. But it’s a ducati 900 in a 400 lb bike... For an off-road/gs bike,
It will light it up.
