Saw one of your countrywo men at the grocery store last week, a Nissan crossover with Aruban plates. A long way from home. T he car itself had a license plate frame from a local dealer, so I suspect some sort of tax dodge as much as anything else.

I forgot Assen has some canals as well. I’ve been there often (1000 times maybe? Did use to work there for a few years. Last visit was exactly 2 weeks ago) but have never taken the time nor effort to go sight seeing. Never went fur ther than my job location, the TT track, the Brezan and the specialized junkyard informally called ‘Hans Peugeot’. Quite weird how that works.

Pancake boats (as in, specialized pancake restaurants located on an old ship) should be more common. I visited the one in Groningen multiple times.

pancake boats are the shit :) its an experience everyone should have at least once (also holy shit so many pancakes to choose from)

course the italian restaurant right across the street from it usually gets my vote.... so so very good

Very well could be. I just always think countryman whenever I see a larger than moderately sized mini. My being mistaken on this wouldn’t surprise me, because it wasn’t until just now that I became aware of country/club distinction.
