Bidding started at $25. I figured if it went for under $100 it would be a cool addition to my collection/Halloween costume...

Yeah no, its over $250 already with a few hours left.

UPDATE: Sold for $597. FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY SEVEN. For a prop barely seen in the movie, and never ‘used’. Only carried. We never even saw the horn inside it. That shot is from a production still. WOW.

Well, I liked it. If that matters.

I’ve read that others did as well.

I think it was mostly the people who didn’t understand the series, or were expecting a 100% faithful adaptation of the series what disliked it.

It does.

I don’t know anything about the series, so I have no preconceived expectations to live up to.  I just need good acting and decent characters, decent enough to make me believe in the story for about 2 hrs.

Well I can’t help you there as I know the books pretty well.

My wife, who knew nothing of the books, came with me and had a lot of questions after the movie, but she said she enjoyed it.

But then again she likes sparkly vampire movies and crime dramas sooooo......

Nobody liked it? Are you crazy? The Goonies is a classic ‘80s film and everyone I know loves it!
