Currently downloading Fortnite on my laptop so I can play at work. Not having a mouse makes things a little tricky. What suggestions do you guys have for a cheap Gaming mouse?

I’m a firm believer in buying quality for the items I use everyday. As such I highly recommend this Logitech G502 which you can get for $50 right now.

So good I have one for home, one for work, and one sealed in it’s box as a backup.

It probably won’t get used everyday, it’s more for the occasional game. I mostly lug this beast around for school where I don’t usually have the desk space for a mouse. I’ll definitely keep this one on the list though.
It’s a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming

It was decent, fairly ergonomic

I got this one for my gaming laptop, I game mostly on desktop at home, for 12 bucks if you don’t mind wired. I had to take it apart and cut some of the LED’s because it glows brighter than the sun. If link doesn’t work it’s a Reddragon 1601 on Amazon. The buttons are nice and it feels nice in your hand.

This is exactly the kind of thing that I’m looking for. It’ll rarely get used so the price point is perfect.

Just buy a usb ball mouse. Super cheap and still pretty accurate.

+1, big fan of the wired Logitech G series mice here too. I’ve been getting some good mileage out of “retiring” them over to my work computer as I upgrade the gaming PC
and then repeat the process once the one at work eventually wears out or dies. The last one made it about 8 years before it started failing

I had one of those once. Lasted all of 3 weeks before falling apart.

You don’t actually mean a ball mouse do you? Those are hardly even made anymore given that even the cheapest optical mouse is vastly superior? Unless you are talking about a trackball (which I think are all optical these days anyway).

I’d say don’t worry about a gaming mouse in particular, any decent mouse should work well. I’d be a bit hesitant to use a Bluetooth mouse for gaming, though most wireless mouse use better proprietary communication tech.
FWIW, I use a Logitech Performance Mouse MX (though $50 is a bit steep I paid $45 and $40 for the two I have).
In any event, things like mice, keyboards, and monitors are so fundamental to the experience (and of course, they last a long time) that you should get quality products.
