This car deserves a LS swap.

I’d rather have this than a new one if I’m being honest.

I remember the first time I saw the buttons and clock on the ceiling. I thought it was the coolest thi ng ever, like an spaceship cockpit. Of course, the world was still in the grip of Star Wars fever.

I like how these look, but generally prefer the rear side window without louvers. True hardtop, too.

Well, it was a Mitsu, so right drive would have been correct, I imagine. Then again, I never realized the Challenger was a rebadged Galant. I wasn’t aware of such things in those days. Of course, there was the summer I worked for a Chevy dealership and the replacement Chevy Spectrum hubcap came in an Isuzu box. The Novas we had were also rebadged Toyota Tercels.

A pillarless coupe with a wrap around rear window. What is this 1950?

It’s amazing we survived the 70’s.

When I was stationed in Germany, I saw a Toyota pickup with a VW badge glued on its prow. That really surprised me.

I should also add, I have a vintage diecast one of these (in Galant trim):

The Hellcat is too big. Neither Chrysler nor Mitsubishi have a small light weight engine fitting for a swap for a Mitsubishi Dodge

Who are you calling vintage?? I was 12 years old in 1978.
That’s super cool, btw.
