Here are the pictures I took on my walk to the circa-1914 !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , one of the first to be !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , to see if anything was left from the original building.
On the way back, though, I passed by Puget Drive atop !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , which boasts excellent views for Vancouver proper, and so actually has proper modern architecture. This became the highlight of my walk.
Unlike many, MANY properties in Vancouver, I actually feel that these are worth the assessed values. Plus, a $7.2mil-assessed home built in 2012 ($5.2mil land and $2mil residence, so an actual proper build, not just riding the land value ) had a couple of Saabs parked prominently in the car port, one of them with !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Definitely Oppo-approved, I’d say!
First, the Oppo-related pics:

Then, the rest:
Nat Bailey Stadium, home of the Toronto Blue Jays Single-A affiliate Vancouver Canadians
Hillcrest Community Centre
Queen Elizabeth Park access
Ronald McDonald House, Vancouver
BC Women’s Hospital
Shaughnessy Elementary School
New 2012 building
1914 building refurbished
The view from Puget Drive
“The Hill House”
From the back alley, looking northwest
The house with the 2x Saabs
...and right across the street...
...and then, diagonally across, there was this

Yes, for such a big name , all he got was a mere elementary school.
In contrast, here are the list of figures for our secondary schools:
Julian Byng, 1st Viscount Byng of Vimy
John Oliver (British Columbia politician)
