Buy him an entire F1 team. At least this means that Williams might be able to give a race seat to someone with enough experience to help them climb back up the grid *cough*Kubica*cough*

He'd make a great best friend. His dad buys all of the really cool toys.

His billionaire pop and his billionaire friends throwing in some of their milk money to save Force India.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for the first season since he started very young, and we can write off this year because the Williams car is trash.
If Stroll can’t perform with a team that’s basically bought for him, he’s only in as long as his father continues to back him. Apart from his financial backing, I see no reason why I would take him on over other younger drivers or even ex-F1 talent that are racing in other series.
Being Canadian, I’d love to see a win from him but I’m not holding my breath.

Saving 400+ jobs and one of the best independe nt F1 teams isn’t a bad deal either.

It’s good for now but what happens in a couple years if the other stakeholders want Lance out? Suddenly Force India is worse of than they were a month ago.

Or it gets bought by the major team and becomes AMG force India in the same vein as sauber and Marcus Ericsson

Hot take - kubica was a solid good, and almost great in his prime. That was ever so many moons ago....
Kubica isn’t a star driver anymore. He is merely average. I’ll bet money that stroll out drives him in that particular car on the formula 1 circuits. You can blame the needs of specialization for that.
Williams should either make the case for Norris/Russel to be there alongside sirotkin , or have sirotkin be their young gun and snip e someone like kvyat or grosjean who can provide some speed at a reasonable price while they rebuild.

Kubica is past his prime however he is the only driver in the Williams organization who knows what a good F1 car need to feel like and how to get it there. He wouldn’t be winning races for them but he has the experience Williams needs to lead the team back towards the front.

2021 is just around the corner and I ’m sure the investors see the potential in what Liberty is doing for the sport. Lance can afford his seat for some time anyway.

I thought in his first season, Stroll looked pretty good. Williams has the worst car on the grid this year by a margin...not only is it slow, but it looks difficult to drive as well. Basically, I’m willing to give the kid a mulligan for this year and see how he looks in a decent car like the Force Canada.

It is annoying having S troll when there are some potentially great drivers ready to move up. I would like to see if Kubica was quick in races, he must be better than Lance.

Kubica knows what a good V8 car feels like. Not what a good V6 car feels like. He is a good development driver but I still maintain that he is a worst case scenario, not a primary plan.
