I nteresting - dude was a couple thousands from rolling that sucker just by jacking the wheel.  Pretty neat how well stability control works.

I WANT TO KNOW WHO MADE THE TIRES!!!!!

Seriously! Like most of the wight was on the left front AND IT FUCKING HELD!!!!!

I think the goodyears on my Focus ST *might* hold up. Th ey are XL load rated and can support well over 2000lbs/tire but I would not be surprised if the front tire, when in a two wheel situation, sees more than that. And this is a high performance, high load bearing tire designed for track and high speed use.

Seriously, that was a frightening moment and shame on nissan, but kudos to the tire maker and to that one guy in the wheel department cause when it REALLY mattered, that bead held tight too.

I’ve seen quite a few of them in Puerto Rico during the past week. They look less stable than a Jimny /Samurai, without the benefit of good looks.

This show is actually really well made! Too bad they made it as slow and long as a soap opera!

I’m disappointed they didn’t try a higher speed with ESP. They said it ‘felt’ like it was gonna roll but I would’ve liked to know for sure. 70kph isn’t exactly flying.

I’m not in remotely any danger of even thinking of buying or even driving a Kicks but I’m sure they’ll soon be plentiful on US highways and my aunt actually has one (without ESP I’m sure).
