Never used one. I’ll admit to snickering a bit at it when it showed up on Kinja Deals last week , but I can imagine it being helpful too.

I think it’s a great idea. My back kills me after a day leaning over the skyline and I don’t have the excuse of a bad back

When I was helping my dad work on his SD Ford 4x4 we had to use  scaffolding so I can see using one of these.

I usually just use a step, or I get one on my foam creeper and climb into the engine. I’ve done that more than I’d like to with BMW’s. \

But I would look into this tire step. It’s much cheaper than the thing you posted and might be easier to use.

Yes, I’ve seen them at dealerships, especially when the tech is shorter and has to work on a F350.

Creepy creeper

My M37 has a damn step on the front so we’re ok there. Or I can just climb inside under the hood, the flathead isn’t that big.

I am tall and can reach every part of all my engine bays with my feet on  the ground but it kills my back. I think the chest pad would take all the stress off my back, I really thought at least one person on here would have one.

I know it looks Goofy and I would never let my friends see me use it if I buy one...
