Why are we promoting actors to command positions?

At least directors have management experience.

I wish  there was a free version of CBS all access you could watch with commercials. I’d like to watch but can’t bring myself to pay a monthly fee for one show.

Im pretty sure it’s canon  that all the X-Men movies are just holodeck programs.

I mean you could also get it and watch Star Trek Discovery as well...

But I get your point. Seems sorta wasteful just to sub for 2 shows. Maybe if they put all previous Star Trek series in the library, it might be worth it. But Amazon prime already has that along with the Expanse and the upcoming Culture series.

I would like to pay to support this new Star Trek stuff since they have two shows now.

Meanwhile, Al Franken has no director credits, and look how he did.
