Nothing major, and not car related, but whatever. Seven months of manually operating the fill was getting a little old (even though I bought the part back in February). Yeah, I guess you can tell I’m currently living alone since if I wasn’t I would have been nagged to fix it sooner...

Things were a little rusty inside, so now everything has pretty much been replaced with plastic. I thought it was just the fill valve that was made in Colombia, but apparently the whole toilet was made there according to the stamping in the tank . This was really the first time I’ve done a major toilet rebuild, so I was just happy everything fit together without issue and didn’t leak, not like it’s all that complex a system .

We rebuilt all three of our toilets this summer due to high water bills. Our last water bill was down $100. It makes a big difference!

I did this on Saturday, however a small leak developed and decided to replace the toilets in the house all together on Sunday

I could have called the property owner and have him do it, but he would take forever and use the cheapest parts possible. I’d rather handle that stuff myself, partially for the experience for  when I buy my own place.

Actually I hate scheduling appointments even more. But agree, I usually do it myself so It can be done the way I want. I actually enjoy doing electrical especially  for that reason.
