When VW made the local line-up up-to-date with the European ( Golf Mk7, Passat Mk8, Polo Mk6, Tiguan Mk2, facelifted Up!, facelifted Amarok) and Fiat released a bunch brand new cars ( Mobi, Argo, Cronos, Toro), all Ford did was releasing the Ka ( good), giving a insufficient update to the Ecosport, start   importing a overpriced Mustang   and slapping a new grill to the Fiesta.

Although Ford hasn’t lost significant market share, their profits are down because they have been mostly selling the cheap Ka ( the de facto Uber X car in my city) while t he more lucrative cars ( Ecosport, Fusion, Fiesta, Focus, Ranger ) sales are down. Not a surprise, considering none of them is the best nor the cheapest in their respective categories anymore
