No, what do you REALLY listen to? :P
I had mentioned this in a comment awhile back and thought it might be interesting to see what the rest of us use! So....what kind of headphones do you use?
For me, my ‘decent headphones’ are 1979-1982 Sony DR-S4s that once belonged to my grandmother that she used when practicing on her electric organ to play in church, haha! I primarily use them on my laptop.
https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/sony/dr-s4.shtml
I had to fix these up and modify them...they originally came with the larger 1/4" stereo jack, but I removed that and soldered on a 3.5mm jack to use with my computers, MP3 player and phone. Each ear also had separate volume rheostats so volume could be adjusted on each ear individually, but both were shot and created static / caused the sound to cut out on one side or another, so I opened them up and soldered a wire on each side bypassing the rheostats to make both sides just a constant volume (I always adjust volume on the device rather than the headphones anyway)...problem solved!
The earmuffs were completely shot as well in that the original foam was hard as a rock and worn flat, so they were very uncomfortable and would give me a headache after a bit of listening....my brother had an old Turtle Beach headset he accidentally ripped the cord out of, so I took the relatively new, undamaged/unworn earmuffs off of that broken headset and superglued them to the DR-S4s. Overall, my DR-S4s are a bit grungy and a bit hacked together, but they still have a nice sound to them, plus it’s kindof fun knowing I’ve ‘personalized’ them myself and that they are still in the family, so to speak. :)
Otherwise, I have a pair of cheap Sony MDR-G45 behind-the-head headphones
for whatever/whenever, though I mostly use them with my Sandisk Sansa Clip+ 2GB (with added 4GB MicroSD card) MP3 player running Rockbox custom firmware.
I also have a blue pair of JVC Marshmellow in-ear earbuds I keep in my laptop bag at all times in case I am out and about and didn’t bring my decent headphones with me. I have a headset for my desktop PC as well...
a Dunherm DH-6000...a good friend had given it to me a few years ago. :)
How do you enjoy your music Oppo?

I have a set of 1More in-ear headphones and those are my best set. They had good reviews and I agree. I have the set that came with my phone which are ok. And then I have a cassette adapter through the stock stereo in my 4runner (which sounds really good)

Nothing at the moment. These bose ear buds were the only ones I could find that fit my ears comfortably, but they’re garbage build quality and I’d go three 3 or 4 a year. At $100.... Yeah. Not doing that anymore. They’re also annoyingly difficult to repair.
But the Miata has a fantastic sound system and my condo has pretty good Bluetooth speakers in every room. It works!

I use some kind of wired over-ear Sennheiser gaming headset that I bought 5-ish years ago. They’re great headphones on their own, with the added microphone for those times I need it (not often). I can wear them for very long periods of gaming without fatigue and music sounds great, so no complaints from me.
At work I use Apple ear buds because I haven’t found the right rechargeable over-ear Bluetooth set to drop the money on yet, but I don’t listen long with the ear buds because even though they’re really good for what they are, they’re not comfortable for long periods of listening and sound quality isn’t that great... I do have an extension cable and splitter for them so I can plug them in on my desk and use them as a headset if I want/need to.

I have Bose QC35s that I use for most of my listening and for shutting out the world. I love these headphones, even if I have learned how to hear through the noise cancelling.
For in-ears I have a pair of Shure SE215s. I hate them and wish I still had my S oundsports. The Shures are uncomfortable and don’t sound that good for what you pay.

Not bad! I have a tendency to prefer headphones over headphones over earbuds....I have an ancient pair of earbuds that came with my Creative Zan V MP3 player back in the day that still work and I often use them to listen to music as I fall asleep....those are about the only time I use buds on a regular basis though!
I still have a cassette adapter somewhere that I kept from when I used to use it in the family’s old 2000 Civic and 1993 Cavalier!

They work quite well, but my big head maxes out their sizing capacity, so they can be a little tight.

, as is the Dunherm headset I have on my desktop....the rest, not so much.

I REALLY love my Sansa Clip+...the MicroSD slot is epic because you can expand the storage to something astronomical and the thing is like half an index finger long! The clip broke off the back of mine, which I surprisingly miss a lot. The power button also broke on mine, but I managed to take it apart and solder it back together. Rockbox is a really nice addition to it once you get used to it. I will definitely get another one sometime if I need to. Problem is, I also have a Sansa Fuze 4GB that I literally never use that was gifted to me. I keep it charged up so the battery doesn’t go shot, but I never listen to anything on it. I imagine if the Clip ever dies I’ll prob put Rockbox on the Fuze and use that instead - it has a MicroSD slot as well!

My current headphones are a set of Logitech G230s. Overly bassy, but better than what I used to have.
I also have a set of JLAB bluetooth earbuds, and they’re comfortable... if you’re not moving, because the control module isn’t in the middle of the cables, meaning that there’s extra weight on one side if you want to leave them loose like any other set of earbuds, and the clip is finicky. Sound quality’s great for cheapo BT earbuds, though.

I just picked up a set of Sony WH-CH700N’s for my flight to France next week, and I’m very happy with them. The noise cancelling seems to work well and the sound quality is just brilliant imo for a midrange bluetooth set.

Ehh, I’m not too much of a fan of their keyboards, the last one I tested had their Romer-G switches and it felt awfully squishy and not-mechanical despite claiming it was mechanical. I’m more inclined to like their mice though. An old Logitech mouse I still own takes about two and a half years of constant use in order to discharge a AA battery. I got one of the full size mice for my desktop (the M510) and the buttons are actually rebindable in software based on the focused process , so I can turn the forwards/back buttons into something else (like a grenade button in FPS games.)
I keep the B luetooth ‘phones around because my mother dislikes my music taste, so she doesn’t let me leverage her Bluetooth system in her car whenever she’s in it. That, and because I planned to get a Bluetooth module for my computer so I could actually do things over BT with both my phone and whatever audio device I wanted to use.

I have a Logitech MX510 gaming optical mouse from Logitech that I bought brand new in 2004...14 years of constant use mean it looks trashed...finish is worn, Logitech logo is worn off...scratches, etc. I have to clean it once and awhile, but by damn if it doesn't still work perfectly! Rebindable buttons like yours too and even still works either their current Setpoint software! :)

Yes, the Technics still work quite well, although the leatherette on the cans is disintegrating which leaves me covered in black speckles. I’ll more than likely replace the pads and keep them around as backups.
Liking the Sennheisers quite a bit. They sound better than the Technics they replaced, and I was super happy with the sound and performance of those.

Very nice! Pretty crazy too....my Sandisk Sansa Clip+ is miniscule, so no room for extra battery, but when it was new it could go for a day straight or so. Now I think I can get about 8-9 hours out of it before I have to charge it again. I mostly use it in the car with the Aux. Input. I love the fact it has a MicroSD card slot though...no mods required there! It has 2GB built in, which is nothing, but get a bigger MicroSD card and it’s happy to use whatever size you want!
Your headphones look almost the same as mine! I bet mine were yours’ ancestor! :P

They were cheap to purchase with a sound to match. they sound clear but no bass or treble
When I do listen to headphones I have a set of Audio-Technica ATH-M50X
They sound good well balanced sound reproduction, clear, and can go very quiet or very loud.

Oh, where to begin...
My main headphones are a set of yellow Coloud Pop (IIRC) that I won from Nokia which perfectly match (by design) my previous phone, which is/was (still got it, still works, just less up-to-snuff for daily use) a Nokia Lumia 1020.
I also have a few pair of some forgettable brand over-the-ear ‘phones which I bought for stupidly-cheap (considering the quality) from tanga.com. They’re probably giving me ear cancer or something.
Next is a pair of completely-wireless Malibu (I don’t remember if that’s brand or model, I’d have to look at the box that MSRP for about $120 but they were on a holiday sale last year for $30, and I used my Microsoft Points (might be called Bing Reward Points) to get them essentially for free. They work well and are comfortable, but battery life hasn’t exceeded 3 hours, so they’re relegated to when I’m cutting the lawn because my ear protectors fit over them, thankfully.
For gaming I alternate between a Creative Soundworks gaming headset, a Logitech headset, and another small one (Turtle Beach?). I alternate because software for each, plus when ear sweat builds up it gives
each a chance to dry.

I didn’t realize it was a competition.
Also, I forgot to mention: Sansas FTW! I had a few of them, and even a pretty sweet dock that I used a lot, but then phones started offering MicroSD expandable storage that could go from phone-to-phone, so that won out (my Lumia 950XL
has a 256GB card in it right now that’s about 30% music). I gave most of the Sansa stuff I had to my mom so that way she could have the one she already owned & used with her upstairs, but then use my old one plus the dock when working in the kitchen or around the main floor (the dock rocks).

I have a ‘Logitech Chat’ headset from like...2005. The stupid in-line volume rheostat is messed in that if you adjust it the headphones get all scratchy or one side or another cuts out until you get it in just the right spot
, but if you blow the dust out of it, it works fine again for awhile. Long story short, amazing that they actually work half decently other than that for being so old! I had to replace the ear pads as well...

The issue with the Logitech is that it works fine but the battery pack is toast and mine is the generation where you can’t remove the battery without disassembling the headset, unlike the newer version where it is easily removable. Fortunately it still works as a wire headset but its still heavy to wear for long periods of time.
