Are those 1 series hatchbacks any good? I see a lot of them around San Antonio and I often dream of buying them in a fantasy world were the 25 year import rule doesn’t exist .

But I really know nothing about them besides being BMW hatchbacks that I assume are RWD.

I love the RWD 1 series hatches (which are basically like the 2 series in the US) , but those are being replaced by the one I posted (which is based on BMW FWD platform)

I think that if you want to buy a Mexican one, you’ll probably be lucky because they sell rather well, and someone must’ve picked the queue that those will be valuable in America (Specially the M140i!) But you’ll have to wait a multitude of years.
