Here in Canada, we get both Chocolate AND Vanilla ice cream. No yogurt though.

Hey, since we’re sort of on the topic, for those with Dairy Queen in their area, does yours still serve Chocolate? Around here, they keep the chocolate in the back and only use it for cakes and will completely refuse to sell it otherwise. It’s vanilla or gtfo, and it’s sad. Also, they got rid of the cherry cone dip. *Sigh*

That DQ custard is seriously fat inducing. But last I visited a DQ, there was still chocolate available. DQs are scarce in the SF Bay Area where I live.

I still remember when Dairy Queen had Howard Johnsons-style hard ice cream in like 12+ flavors. The Royal Banana Split had banana and strawberry ice cream in addition to the vanilla. Just hasn’t been as good since.

First (and only) time I’d seen chocolate frozen yogurt at Costco was on my California road trip. They don’t sell it up here. :(

Although oddly enough they have started selling wings up here. I still don’t buy them because they aren’t nearly the deal that the drink + hot dog or poutine is.

Ours have always been vanilla only. If you want chocolate it is syrup on top. Still my favorite split. Tripple vanilla ice cream with pineapple, strawberry, and chocolate.
