The Maserati dealer bought a commercial building just around the corner / across the street from the Richmond Auto Mall, but since the site itself is not zoned for selling cars they cannot operate there as a dealership. They are using it as a “service centre” while the re-zoning application is considered by the city.
...and it is literally “across the street”. It is on the same road that all the other dealerships are accessed from, but just on the other side. The wonders of zoning! Pictured: Maserati Levante and Ghibli

yeah, also, different culture there really. It’s 50%-60% ethnic chinese. Most first gen.
