We used to have honorary plates too, but they were abused so much that they’ve been discontinued

Whenever I see them, I just think “not somebody I want to rear end”

Always hilarious to see S/RS/AMG/M etc cars with consular/diplomatic plates. What a racket.

Yeah, it’s messed up. The Japanese have a BRZ near my office. I can get on board with that.

Reasonably priced relatively normal car, sure. For others, I’d question the origin of money even more than typical flashy cars in Van.

If Canadian ambassador positions are anything like in the US, being rich is sort of a prerequisite.

“Oh, you donated $50,000 to my campaign and you wrote a paper in college about the need to educate women in sub-Saharan Africa? You get Chad.”

These are reps from other countries sent to Canada, I can’t speak for how each nation does it.

The Consul General s eems like she’s pretty qualified, but what do I know.
