I stopped at tint. All I really want now is a set of LED tails from an RS.

Tint is surprisingly useful here. Mine keeps my car like an icebox and it’s easier to heat than cool a car... I spent two years without tint in mine and the difference is quite dramatic.

Hmm. 24% is the legal limit in WA , so  you might be over! Most glass itself is like 90-95 %. I went conservative with mine at 40%.

If it’s just for an hour or something, windows down can do the trick, then AC.  This isn’t exactly San Diego.  But if you’re outside 10 hours a day, I suppose it may be a nice thing.

I was trying to think of the most common mods for that platform but all I really know are badge deletes, tunes, and cat back exhaust. None of that is really specific to the ST twins...

I have considered removing the “Focus” badge on mine since they don’t put them on the Focus STs in Europe. The rest...meh. I could see a bigger intercooler, but I wouldn’t do any performance mods on top of it. The exhausts are too loud and the stock one sounds so good for an I4 . I’ve considered the official Mountune one from Ford, but I need my fuel economy.

Most people do really terrible things to these cars. They remove the catalytic converters, stance them, put wing risers on (broken wang, woo!), mud flaps, etc. I just can’t do it. I swear that most people that buy them up here really wanted a Subaru, because they mod them the exact same ways.

Even with windows open/down, it got hot inside so fast. Now I can leave it out all day with a windshield cover and it’ll be distinctly cooler inside than the outside air... The tint I got is magic, I’ve never experienced another type that rejects this much heat in spite of so much light transmission.

I’ve always been fine with the windows down for a minute, then AC. It’s not a common thing for me though, and my car has a rear window shade.

The old car doesn’t even have AC, once the temp is abo ve 75 or so, at least one window will always be down, just the way it is.
