Even Ye was pretty good from a human aspect. In terms of rap for the “vibes” there’s way better stuff than mainstream soundcloud rap.   $uicideboy$, Lil Peep, Lund and Wicca Phase Springs Eternal immediately spring to mind.

Just be cause you don’t like rap does not mean that all rappers are light on substance or objectify women or shit talk or glorify drugs. Lots and lots of rappers don’t do that. You can not like something without being dismissive of it.

Some of his later stuff was pretty vibes. His early stuff had gnarly vocal fry, I’m surprised he wasn’t in any punk or hardcore bands.

Imma basically sum up his style based on his albums/projects:

Revenge: psychodelic type scream rap, multi-genre with some psychodelic distorted soft sung songs. Good stuff.

17: his personal struggle, mostly sung and barely rap, more r&b and soft rock. Any screams you hear are softer screams of pain. Kinda contradictory but whatever.

?: A mix of a lot of things; old school rap, soft and hard rock, r&b, Hispanic music, modern sort of mumble rap, and more. This album was intended to have at least one song for everyone.
