To keep up with GM on the niche product wars, FCA just announced they’ll be making a new version of the Ram Charger, to be based on the 2019 Jeep Cherokee FWD!

You jest, but that is totally something that’s going to happen.

The new Escape Bronco will follow suit.

Look. I divided American cars into two categories.
Those with at least
one of the following three:
a v8
RWD
an ST or RS badge.
and the rest.

On our actual street, The Rest are 97% of vehicles.

I guess I could include the Spark RS.
I think the fun thing about A
merican cars is the excess... if you remove it you get a weird car in my opinion.

The Escape Mustang is also available now, at your local C&C.

Escaping from Mustangs still a futile exercise.

FCA should also focus on making decent regular cars instead of cars designed for 13 year old boys.

Hey man, I’m just here to fuck shit up. I don’t know what would be more economically viable for FCA. I can agree with the sentiment superficially, but car makers have
struggled
to sell small cars in the US for years... how could FCA go economical
in such a hostile market towards economic cars
?

What’s with this reasonable & nuanced take? Do you even know how to internet?

Not to hijack the thread but I heard that one of your presidential candidates (mayor of Mexico City?) is determined to stop the corruption. I’m just curious what kind of track record he has had in the city itself over the last however many terms he has had in actually reducing corruption and crime. Thanks. Sorry if this stirs up your anger.

It is Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, my former Mayor.
He did reduce the homicide rate in Mexico City which reached a 20 year low of 3.3/100k
, though the homicide rate % change in Mexico City followed the national one and the two mayors we’ve had after him were in his party,so it’d be misguided to think he had an important impact.
He did oversee an increase in unemployment, and extortion crimes... he didn’t actually finish his term, he instead tried to become president in 2006, and 2012... failed both times despite being the most expensive candidate... both times.
He’s best described by WaPo as “Mexico’s Trump” but Obrador has been weary of that image, so he’s shifted center on the general election. I think he’d make a horrible president and I am not going to vote for him. However, we’re set to lose this election, as one of the candidates has no elected executive experience, another is a party muppet, and the other one promised to chop off the hands of criminals.

If youre talking about the hand chopper, he also said that his solution to teenage pregnancy is to tell women that they’ll become fat and undesirable if they fuck.

He’s polling at 3%... he’s kind of the Chris Christie of governors: his people hate him and he’s constantly ridiculing himself on national TV.
